CLUB RIDES

Q. Can I just turn up on a Sunday and join in?

A. Yes, just turn up and introduce yourself. There are rides of different standards every Sunday and a ride specifically for newcomers on the first Sunday of each month that has an experienced leader. The newcomers ride will be tailored around the ability of the riders who turn up.

Q. Where do the club rides start?

A. They start at Preston College, St Vincents Road, Fulwood. PR2 8UR. Every Sunday at 9:00 am, March – November and 10.00am December – February.

Q. How fit do I have to be?

A. There are rides catering for most standards but we would recommend that you are able to ride about 20 to 30 miles.

Q. What type of bike do I need?

A. It does not have to be the latest in cycling technology but it is recommended that the bike is in good working order, lightweight and serviceable.
