Ribble Valley Cycling & Racing Club

First joined Ribble Valley in the 60’s when Peter Ward was still racing. Went on many Sunday club rides and did the odd evening 10 but left after about two years, this coincided with leaving school and finding other interests.

Started cycling again in the 80’s entering a few duathlons and doing some mountain biking.

Re-joined Ribble Valley in 1994. Doing mainly Sunday Club Runs with the odd time trial or duathlon.

The interest in Mountain Biking has developed and now do mainly off-road riding to stay away from cars but still include café stops in the rides.

This interest in the off road riding has led to a monthly Mountain Bike club ride which is run jointly with David Warren.
