TOURIST AWARDS

Novice Tourist

(must be completed in a new Members first year with the Club):

One 50 mile ride plus any two of the following three rides:

1. Preston-Pilling-Glasson Dock-Scorton-Preston
2. Preston-Ribchester-Whalley-Waddington-Bashall Eaves-Chipping-Preston
3. Round the Trough of Bowland

Bronze Tourist

One 100 mile ride plus any two of the following three rides:

1. Preston-Kirkby Lonsdale-Preston
2. Preston-Rathmell-Preston
3. Preston-Milnthorpe-Preston

Silver Tourist

One 120 mile ride plus any two of the following three rides:

1. Preston-Dent-Preston
2. Preston-Malham-Preston
3. Preston-Slaidburn-Lamb Fell-Bentham-Wray-Caton-Quernmore-Preston

Gold Tourist (Lady VETS)

One 140 mile ride plus any two of the following three rides:

1. Preston-Windermere via the Lythe Valley-Preston;
2. Preston-Shap-Tebay-Preston;
3. Preston-Ingelton-Hawes-Ribblehead-Preston.

Gold Tourist

One 150 mile ride plus any two of the following three rides:

1. Preston-Quernmore-Kirby Longsdale-Barbondale-Dent-Kingsdale-Ingleton-Settle-Waddington-Preston
2. Fleet Moss
3. Preston-Kirkstone-Penrith-Shap-Preston

Platinum Tourist

Three 180 mile rides which must be approved by the Management Committee prior to undertaking the challenge.

Diamond Tourist

Three 225 mile rides which must be approved by the Management Committee prior to undertaking the challenge.

MOUNTAIN BIKE AWARDS

There are separate lists for Male and Female Mountain Bike Awards and you must complete any 3 from the agreed list to qualify for an Award:

Bronze

Any 2 rides from the published Bronze list

Silver

Any 2 rides from the published Silver list

Gold

Any 2 rides from the published Gold list

SPECIAL AWARDS

On occasions Special Awards are presented to members who have been successful in areas not covered by the Club Standard Awards, eg. achievements in National Events or long distance events.

It is the responsiblity of the Management Committee to determine whether an Award is bestowed. To be eligible for a Special Award members should complete the Awards Claim Form under the ‘Other’ section and submit it by 31st October to the Trophy Secretary.
